Four ways to overcome fear

First of all Merry Christmas to all of you!

We’ve recently discussed, how to react to failures. But sometime fear prevents us from act. Remember our previous post “Act Now”, here I’m going to discuss how to overcome fear.

One of the important trait of Self Confidence and successful person, is that they face their fear, and act. Fear is very normal, everybody is afraid of fear, including me. Fear is the enemy of the Self Confidence. The biggest fear is the fear of failure. And action is the only thing that cures the fear.

Here are the four ways to overcome fear.

  1. Figure out what you’re afraid of. Once you identify the reason of fear, you’re well on the way to overcome it.
  2. Admit the Fear. Its normal, and its okay to be afraid. The common definition of Courage, is the ability to feel fear, and still do what you need to do.
  3. Accept your fear. Accepting your fear is important, because it shows, that you know you’re afraid. And hence, you can act on it.
  4. Take Action. Action is the anti dot to the fear. And action is the most important from this four steps.

Remember that, the greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time you fail.
