ECHO of Life

Let me share with you one story I've receiving from one of my good friend, Naresh. You might have already come across this story... I'm trying to look at the other side of the coin. I wish to receive your comments about it...

"A man and his son were walking in the forest. Suddenly the boy trips and feeling a sharp pain. He screams, “Ahhhhh!”
Surprised, he hears a voice coming from the mountain,”Ahhhhh!”
Filled with curiosity, he screams: “Who are you?”, but the only answer he receives is: “Who are you?”
This makes him angry, so he screams: “You are a coward!” and the voice answers: “You are coward!”
He looks at his father, asking. “Dad, what is going on?”
“Son,” the man replies, “pay attention!” then he screams,” I admire you!”
The voice answers: “I admire you!”
The father shouts, “You are wonderful!” and the voice answers: “You are wonderful!”
The boy is surprised, but still can’t understand what is going on.
Then the father explains, “People call this ECHO, but truly it is ‘LIFE!’. Life always gives you back what you give out! Life is a mirror of your actions. If you want more love, give more love! If you want more kindness, give more kindness! If you want more understanding and respect, give more understanding and respect! If you want people to be patient and respectful to you, give patience and respect! This rule of nature applies to every aspects of loves.”
Life always gives you back what you give out.
Your life is not a coincidence, but a mirror of your own doings."

This small story attempts to answer our lot of question. When we don't know why this or that things are happening to us, we may look into our own actions taken sometime back, sometimes we may find corresponding events that explains about our current experiences. As said in Theory of Karma, we are the only responsible person, for whatever actions or inactions, for whatever we receive in return from our life or from others including God.

Our actions / inactions as well as our attitude towards others determine how other thinks about us and behaves with us. If we're good at others, others will be good with us. This is rightly said by this small story, that life is like a mirror. Whatever we give will ultimately comes back to us!!!

Do you agree with it?

Now, look at this.

We are good with others, and always want to help people, give lot of love, respect and whatever it takes to make life wonderful and a worthy place to enjoy life. But still, not all people we come into contact are good, and we receive lot of  hate, anger from such person. Such people always tries to make our life miserable, even after we're good & honest with them. This is true with strangers as well as for the relatives we may have contact with.

And this makes us very difficult to have same attitude towards all the people, because our attitude is a result of our experiences with people & situations. We may not receive love for love. Yes, life is not a coincidence, but to me, its also not a mirror of our own doings.

So how can you explain this?
